Tsarevo: New Multidisciplinary Hospital and Healthcare

In Tsarevo, the construction of a multidisciplinary hospital is forthcoming, which promises to provide a significant improvement in healthcare for the local community. This was announced today by the mayor of the municipality, Marin Kirov, in front of those gathered at the panel discussion "The Municipality caring for the most vulnerable - working health and social services" within the framework of the Annual Meeting of Local Authorities, held in Albena. The event, which brings together representatives of local authorities, is organized by the National Association of Municipalities in the Republic of Bulgaria.

Kirov explained to the participants that the Municipality is about to finalize a contract with a Bulgarian-Korean company. According to the agreed conditions, the investor will receive land, and in return will undertake to complete the construction of the hospital within a three-year period. The expectations are that the health facility will have 60 beds.

In addition to these plans, Mayor Kirov noted that Tsarevo already boasts the most modern medical center south of Burgas. He stressed that the health facility is equipped with the most modern equipment. The center offers services not only for practicing family doctors, but also has 13 offices in which specialists from different medical fields practice. The mayor stressed that the center opened its doors only three months ago, but is already reporting a profit.

In addition, Kirov added that the local administration is developing plans to create two new units aimed at supporting elderly people. One of them will be specialized for people suffering from dementia, reflecting the growing need for specialized care for this vulnerable group of the population.
