Tsarevo Municipality is preparing to undertake significant investments in sports infrastructure. At a regular meeting, the municipal councilors decided to apply for a project of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the value of which amounts to an impressive 1.6 million leva. The project envisages a complete renovation of the athletics track and the installation of modern lighting at the stadium in the city. This decision, adopted unanimously, signals the municipality's aspiration to improve sports conditions and encourage physical activity among the population.
In addition, the municipal council demonstrated broad support, approving the application for participation in a Memorandum of Cooperation, aimed at supporting Burgas in the competition for European Capital of Culture in 2032. This action underlines the municipality's commitment to cultural development and regional cooperation.
The councilors also decided to allocate financial assistance to the Church Board of the "St. Tsar Boris – Michael" Church. The funds, amounting to 16,772.40 leva, will be used for the repair of a building owned by the board, located near the church. This decision reflects the municipality's support for religious institutions and the preservation of cultural heritage.
Another important decision, taken at the meeting, is related to infrastructure needs. The councilors agreed to build a temporary road to alleviate the transport difficulties caused by an accident on the II-99 road "Tsarevo – Malko Tarnovo", in the area of the village of Izgrev. This demonstrates a quick reaction of the local authorities in overcoming the problems that have arisen.
In addition, several reports concerning the allocation of land from the municipal land fund and the sale of properties – public and municipal property, were discussed at today's meeting.

The mayor of the municipality, Marin Kirov, proposed supplementing the Annual Program for the management and disposal of municipal property for the current year. Proposals were included for the sale of individual ideal parts of properties in Tsarevo, in accordance with the procedures provided for in Art. 35, para. 3 of the Law on Municipal Property. In addition, a decision was made to hold public auctions for the sale of properties in Ahtopol and the locality "Turkish barracks".
