A resident of Burgas was detained with illegal weapons and ammunition during a police operation.

During a specialized police operation, conducted by officers from the "Criminal Police" department at the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior in Burgas, a 50-year-old man from the "Dolno Ezerovo" neighborhood in Burgas was arrested. The police officers conducted a search in a private property, located on "Arbanasi" street in the same neighborhood, and found four illegally possessed rifles, three of which were 12-gauge, as well as one air rifle.

In addition to the rifles, three gas pistols were found and seized in the property, as well as a significant amount of ammunition of various calibers - 76 cartridges of 12-gauge, 318 cartridges of 7.62x39 caliber, 14 cartridges of 7.62x54 caliber, 20 cartridges of 30-06 caliber, 93 cartridges of 9x19 caliber, 81 cartridges of 22 caliber, 134 cartridges of 9x18 caliber, and 6 cartridges of 8 mm caliber.

The arrested 50-year-old resident of Burgas was detained for a period of up to 24 hours, and a pre-trial proceeding has been initiated in the case.
