During the last 24 hours on the territory of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior - Burgas, two thefts and three traffic accidents have been registered. A total of six crimes have been solved.
As a result of police actions, the perpetrator of the theft of five 1.5-meter-long cables from a communication manhole in Burgas, which led to the interruption of the connection between railway stations, has been identified. The detained person is a 19-year-old resident of Burgas, who had already been arrested for the theft of electrical cables.
Employees from the Nessebar Police Station have uncovered the perpetrator of causing material damage to a Jaguar XE car, owned by a 41-year-old Ukrainian citizen. The perpetrator is a 46-year-old man from Sveti Vlas, who had unresolved personal issues with the victim.
In Burgas, the perpetrator of the damage to a Volkswagen Passat, a 30-year-old local resident who kicked the car without reason, has also been identified.
On the Sredets - Burgas road, three cars collided due to a failure to maintain a safe distance in dense fog conditions. A 36-year-old woman was injured and was examined at the hospital and released for home treatment.
On the Sozopol - Burgas road, a Mercedes Sprinter truck hit a Volkswagen Polo from behind, injuring the 67-year-old driver in the chest.
In a single-vehicle accident involving a Volkswagen Golf on the Bata - Stratzin road, two 18- and 20-year-old women from Podgorets visited the hospital, but no serious injuries were found.
The police continue to investigate all cases.
