The Burgas police with active work - reveals thefts and drug crimes

The report of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Burgas for the past 24 hours shows active work of the police in the city. A total of one theft, one road traffic accident, and three police proceedings have been registered. Ten crimes have been solved.

On June 2, the Second District Police Station in Burgas received a report of a bicycle theft worth about 800 levs, belonging to a 37-year-old resident of Burgas. The theft occurred on May 31/June 1 in an underground parking lot in the "Central Park" complex. Prompt police action led to the identification and detention of a 33-year-old Burgas resident with a criminal record, who made a full confession and returned the stolen bicycle.

On June 4, around 10 a.m., officers from the Second District Police Station in Burgas conducted a check on a 22-year-old Burgas resident with a criminal record, during which they found and seized 3 grams of a white crystalline substance identified as methamphetamine. The Burgas resident was detained under a 24-hour order, and a fast-track proceeding has been initiated in the case.

On June 3, around 6:15 p.m., on "Kraiezerna" Street in Burgas, a Seat Leon passenger car with Burgas registration, driven by a 25-year-old Burgas resident, crashed due to excessive speed. He suffered a concussion and was examined at the "Heart and Brain" Hospital in Burgas, after which he was released for home treatment, without danger to his life.
