Burgas comes to life at Bratislava Airport

In the heart of the summer season, the Milan Rastislav Štefánik International Airport in Bratislava has become a bridge between Bulgaria and Slovakia. The photo exhibition "Burgas – Exciting and Artistic" welcomes thousands of passengers with impressive shots that reveal the spirit of the seaside city.

The exhibition presents Burgas not just as a tourist destination, but as a city of culture, sports, and a modern European lifestyle.

What does the exhibition include?

  • 20 masterful photographs: Created by talented authors from the "Burgas Photographic Community."
  • A variety of themes: Iconic city spots, festivals, sports events, and moments from everyday life.
  • Location: The second floor of the terminal, before the security screening area.

The initiative is the result of collaboration between the Embassy of Bulgaria in Slovakia, the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Bratislava, the Municipality of Burgas, and BTA. The exhibition is a key moment in supporting Burgas' bid for European Capital of Culture 2032.

The direct flight between the two cities further enhances the importance of the event, facilitating tourist and business exchange between the two friendly nations.
