The Vienna Bulgarian School "St. St. Cyril and Methodius" marked a remarkable participation in the 18th Conference of the Association of Bulgarian Schools Abroad (ABSA), held in July 2025. The educational institution shared its extensive achievements through its official Facebook page.
The conference was dedicated to the innovative motto "Learning by Playing. Playing by Learning", which emphasizes the importance of experiential and emotional education. Among the key moments was the presentation by Dr. Irina Vladikova, who presented a detailed presentation about the theater group "Playful Stars".
Vladikova's report not only told the story of the creative ensemble but also argued its educational value. She emphasized the ways in which theatrical art helps build language culture, stage confidence, and deepens the connection with Bulgarian national identity.
Another significant moment of the forum was the election of Simona Zaharieva - a teacher from the school, as a member of the new ABSA Board of Directors. This choice was determined by the collective as a prestigious recognition and additional motivation for future development.

The school "St. St. Cyril and Methodius" is a licensed educational institution in Vienna, offering education from preschool group to 12th grade. In addition to traditional forms of education, the school has distance learning programs, a dance ensemble "Colorful Sock", a Reading Club "Mom and I Read Together" and a "Traditions" Club.
