The Azerbaijan Gas Supply Company (AGSC) is actively working to secure additional quantities of natural gas for the European Union starting in 2026. Following a successful market test conducted jointly with TAP, SNAM, and DESFA, the company has reserved a capacity of 1 billion cubic meters. AGSC General Director, Lidiya Salakhova, emphasized the record production from the Shah Deniz field last year, which allowed for deliveries of over 27 billion cubic meters of gas to over 30 buyers. AGSC aims to diversify supplies and expand its partner network to meet the growing energy demand in the EU.
