Tsar Samuil's remains are coming back to Bulgaria, says Asen Vasilev

Bulgaria will get back the remains of Tsar Samuil. Asen Vasilev, co-chair of We Continue the Change, said so on Facebook, sharing a translated article from a Greek publication.

The article says the Greek Orthodox Church also has to agree to the transfer.

Bulgaria and Greece have discussed the request many times over the past decades but never reached a final decision, the article says.

The issue came up again in 2022, under the Petkov government.
