State Aid for Bulgarian Farmers
Minister of Agriculture and Food Plamen Abrovski announced that the government is providing 170 million EUR through the State Fund "Agriculture". The goal of the measure is to support nearly 50,000 farmers in the country.
This aid is critically important for maintaining the competitiveness of Bulgarian production in the face of rising costs.
What will the funds be used for?
- Compensating for the increased prices of gas oil;
- Covering the difference in costs for artificial fertilizers compared to the previous year;
- Ensuring the stability of the agricultural sector in view of global economic challenges.
