The iconic Grand Auditorium Louis Lumière hall is undergoing a technological transformation that will completely change the perception of film art. The official announcement on July 21 reveals the large-scale transformation of the space with the installation of a cutting-edge Dolby Atmos sound system.

The technical parameters of the new system are impressive – a total of 148 speakers, distributed in a complex spatial configuration. Specifically, this includes 128 main and 20 height speakers that create an extremely detailed and immersive audio space.

The system is powered by an impressive number – 29 professional amplifiers that guarantee an exceptionally clean and powerful sound. Engineers have laid over 5 kilometers of specialized cables to achieve a perfect acoustic environment.

The hall's capacity remains unchanged – 2,309 seats, making it one of the largest cinema spaces in the world. The key advantage of the new system is its ability to create a three-dimensional sound field that practically eliminates the boundaries between the viewer and the film action.

Experts define this modernization as a qualitative leap in the cinematographic experience. Dolby Atmos technology allows sound to move freely throughout the entire space, creating a sense of complete immersion in what is happening on the screen.
