Burgas is preparing to host the pre-premiere screening of the highly anticipated Bulgarian film “3.0 Kilograms of Happiness” by director Zornitsa Sofia. The event will take place on January 17th with two screenings: at 5:00 PM and 7:30 PM.

The choice of Burgas for the pre-premiere is not accidental, as the film was made with the financial and logistical support of the Municipality.

Part of the acting team is expected to attend the screenings, with the participation of Vladimir Zombori and Gerasim Georgiev – Gero already confirmed.

Tickets will be available at the “Clock” box office, with organizers expecting them to go on sale by the end of the week.

“3.0 Kilograms of Happiness” will be released in cinemas across the country on January 30, 2026. The film is inspired by real events and addresses important questions about parenthood, the biological clock, social pressure, and the price of the dream of becoming a mother.

In the main roles, we will see Stefka Yanorova, Daria Simeonova, Vladimir Zombori and Gerasim Georgiev – Gero. The story follows the life of Elizabeth and her family, who are faced with moral choices in their pursuit of a child.

The screenplay is by Victoria Penkova, Zornitsa Sofia and Petar Delchev, the cinematographer is Martin Chichov, and the music is by Mihail Yosifov. The production is by MQ Pictures with the assistance of the National Film Center, Burgas Municipality, and the Azerbaijan Film Agency.
