Actress Desi Mincheva-Todorova will read excerpts on stage when the book "33 Denonoshtia" ("33 Days and Nights") by Simeon Iliev Asparuhov is presented in Burgas on October 16, 2026. The Peyo Yavorov Regional Library is hosting the event.

Mincheva-Todorova picked the passages the audience will hear herself. No one gave her a script — she had full creative freedom.

After the reading, the author and Mincheva-Todorova will talk with the audience about literature — how the same text can be read in different ways, and what happens to it once it leaves the page.

The evening is part of a visit to Burgas by the publishing house Bulgaria Library, at the invitation of the Peyo Yavorov Regional Library, with help from Burgas council and backing from mayor Dimitar Nikolov.

The event runs from 6:30pm at the library's Center for Contemporary Art, 14 Sredna Gora Street. Admission is free.
