The Bulgarian Minister of Foreign Affairs opens the first Bulgarian higher education institution in Moldova.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria, Georgi Georgiev, officially opened a branch of the Ruse University "Angel Kanchev" in the city of Taraclia, Moldova. This is the first Bulgarian higher education institution outside the country that will provide access to quality European education to an increasing number of young people from the Bulgarian minority in Moldova.

Burgas welcomes the first edition of the Robotics Workshops at the Searchers School
The first edition of the Robotics Workshops at the Searchers School, a project of the Great Orange Foundation, concluded with a celebratory event in Burgas. The Municipality of Nessebar informs citizens about the disinfection and deratization treatments carried out in the populated areas of the region according to an approved schedule. Free genetic tests for rare diseases in children in Burgas
From May 29 to June 4, a free genetic screening for two rare, disabling neuromuscular diseases in children will be held in Burgas. The campaign is organized by the Burgas Pediatric Association, the Municipality of Burgas and Dispensary Clinic 1 on the occasion of International Children's Day. The tests are intended for children with specific symptoms and will be performed in the laboratory of Dispensary Clinic 1.
Burgas opens its doors again for creative inspiration for adults

On May 19, 2025, a meeting was held between OU "St. Kliment Ohridski" - Burgas and OU "Atatürk" - Kırklareli, Turkey. The event was part of a project for exchanging experience and establishing good practices between the two educational institutions. Teachers from Bulgaria and Turkey discussed curricula, shared teaching methods, and visited classes at the partner school.
