The movement of motor vehicles was redirected to bypass routes during the construction period in order to ensure road safety and tranquility for the residents.

Upcoming repair activities on Trakia highway in the sections between 130th and 134th kilometer, as well as between 127th and 130th kilometer. This will require temporary changes in traffic organization, including restrictions for heavy vehicles. Drivers are urged to follow the rules and not use emergency lanes for faster movement.

Preparation for a new roundabout on road I-2 near Shumen
From June 20, a temporary change in the organization of traffic on road I-2 in the Shumen region will be introduced, related to the upcoming construction of a new roundabout. Restrictions will be imposed on the passage of heavy vehicles, and traffic will be diverted through the "Belokopitovo" road junction on the "Hemus" motorway. The construction and installation activities for the new roundabout will continue for 240 calendar days and will be financed under the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism.

The strategy will focus on modernization, zero-emission technologies, energy efficiency and digitalization, in order to increase the competitiveness of the Bulgarian industry and promote the green transformation.
