According to official data from the Bulgarian National Bank, during the first three months of 2025, the Bulgarian diaspora sent a record 420 million euros home - 15.7% more than the same period a year earlier. This reflects the increased financial support from emigrants to families and businesses in Bulgaria.
The Bulgarian citizens evacuated from Israel have returned to Sofia after a prolonged journey.

On June 2, in the village of Zadunayevka, Odessa region, the local Bulgarian population celebrated the Day of Botev and the fallen for the freedom of Bulgaria.
