Scheme with non-fiscal printers at "Kavatsite" beach
The National Revenue Agency (NRA) has uncovered a serious violation at a popular establishment on "Kavatsite" beach. During an inspection, it was revealed that instead of a fiscal device, the venue was using a non-fiscal printer, meaning sales were not being reported to the revenue administration's system.
"Sales were not registered with the NRA and were not reported in accordance with the statutory requirements," stated Anna Mitova, Communications Director at the NRA.
Results from intensified fiscal control
- In Sozopol, 76 establishments were inspected, with 25 of them found to be in violation.
- For the period of June 29 – July 6, 650 inspections were carried out across the country, with 226 violations identified.
- The main issues include failure to issue receipts and discrepancies in cash balances.
Upcoming sanctions and measures
The NRA reminds that the law allows for the sealing of a commercial establishment in the event of a repeat violation. Due to low fiscal discipline along the Black Sea coast, the agency has deployed additional teams from the interior of the country for intensified inspections during the peak summer season.
