Strict measures following incident with tax officials
A panel of the Nesebar District Court granted the request of the National Revenue Agency (NRA) and extended the sealing period of a commercial establishment in the "Sunny Beach" resort complex. The facility will remain closed until September 10 due to an act of physical aggression.
The incident occurred on August 18, when the manager of the kiosk attacked employees of the "Fiscal Control" General Directorate.
Following the assault, the man fled with the cash register but was detained by police after a call to 112. Pre-trial proceedings have already been initiated regarding the case.
- Court's rationale: Sealing is necessary to secure evidence and future control actions.
- Period: The establishment was initially closed for 48 hours, and the period has now been extended by another 20 days.
- Status: The magistrates' ruling is final and not subject to appeal.
