Large-scale operation against counterfeit goods in Sunny Beach
Over 3,700 items bearing logos of world-famous brands were confiscated during a specialized police operation in the Sunny Beach resort complex. The goods were intended for sale in commercial establishments in the area.
The investigation revealed a scheme for the illegal import of imitations from Turkey, which arrived daily via passenger buses.
Details of the scheme:
- The goods were delivered to a gas station and then transported to a special warehouse.
- A total of 3,709 items were seized, including bags, wallets, and belts.
- A 21-year-old man, who is the manager of the three stores where the goods were discovered, has been detained.
At the moment, the individual is in custody for 24 hours. A pre-trial proceeding has been initiated, and the materials are to be reported to the prosecutor's office.
