Burgas Municipality will support the Regional Directorate “Fire Safety and Population Protection” by providing specialized equipment, supplies, and trained volunteers for a faster and more effective response to fires, disasters, and emergencies.
This will be implemented through an application to the “Human Resources Development” program.
Burgas Municipality will provide an off-road vehicle with a mobile fire extinguishing system for rapid movement and effective actions. Investment will also be made in the equipment and training of the volunteer formation, including personal protective equipment, training, and exercises.
The project also envisages specialized equipment for the Municipal Headquarters for Disaster Protection. Prior to this, Burgas Municipality purchased a drone with a thermal camera for the fire department.
