A bloody toll: Serious road accidents do not stop
Tragic news from Bulgarian roads continues. According to the latest data from the Ministry of Interior, the past 24 hours have been marked by 15 serious accidents, in which one person has lost their life and 16 others have been injured.
The statistics show a worrying trend: since the beginning of the year, 2,152 accidents have been registered, claiming a total of 160 lives and leaving 2,663 people injured.

- Since the beginning of the month: 439 accidents, 33 fatalities, and 525 injured.
- Comparison with 2025: During the same period last year, there were 137 fatalities, which means an increase of 23 more deaths in 2026.
Institutions are once again calling on drivers to exercise increased caution, observe traffic rules, and take high responsibility behind the wheel, especially during dynamic road conditions.
