Bloody statistics: 31 injured in accidents over the past 24 hours
The past 24 hours have proven to be extremely difficult for road safety in Bulgaria. According to official data from the Ministry of the Interior (MoI), 28 serious traffic accidents were registered across the country, resulting in a total of 31 people injured.
The situation in the capital remains tense – 3 serious and 19 minor accidents were registered in Sofia, resulting in three people being injured.
Staggering statistics:
- Since the beginning of the month: The road death toll has already reached 20, with 500 injured.
- Since the beginning of the year: The grim statistics count 292 deaths and 5,199 injuries in road accidents.
Road safety experts are urging drivers to exercise increased caution, maintain a safe distance, and strictly adhere to traffic rules, especially under challenging road conditions.
