Excellent conditions for mountain tourism
Conditions for mountain tourism are very good, with the weather everywhere being clear, calm, and sunny, the Mountain Rescue Service (MRS) at the Bulgarian Red Cross reported to BTA. Currently, temperatures in the mountains are in the range of 10-15 degrees.
No incidents were reported in the mountains over the past 24 hours, the rescue service added.

According to the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH), atmospheric pressure is higher than the average for the month and will continue to rise. Today will be sunny, and it is expected to be hot in the afternoon.
- Temperatures: At an altitude of 1200 m, maximum temperatures will be around 25 degrees, and at 2000 m – around 16 degrees.
- Cloudiness: Temporary increases in cloudiness are expected in mountainous areas, but without precipitation.
- Wind: A moderate to strong wind will blow from the west-northwest, and temporarily gale-force gusts are expected along the ridge of the Central Balkan Mountains.
