An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.7 was registered early this morning in the seismogenic Vrancea zone in Romania, announced the National Seismological Center at the National Institute of Geophysics, Geodesy and Geography at BAS.
The tremor was recorded at 04:56 in the area of the city of Brașov. Its epicenter is located approximately 190 kilometers from Ruse, 270 kilometers from Pleven, and about 400 kilometers from Sofia.
According to data from the Romanian National Institute for Earth Physics, the magnitude was estimated at 4.4, and the hypocenter was at a depth of about 145 kilometers. Discrepancies between the initial estimates of different seismological services are common during automatic data processing.
At the moment, there is no information about injured people or material damage on the territory of Bulgaria.
The Vrancea zone is among the most active sources of seismic impact outside Bulgaria. Earthquakes there are usually at a great depth, often over 60 kilometers, which is why they can be felt over a significant territory, including in Northern Bulgaria.

Ужас! 4.7?! Дано всички са добре в Румъния, особено във Вранча. Надявам се да няма пострадали
