The competitors of the yacht club “Chernomorets Burgas” solidified their strong presence in Bulgarian sailing after winning a number of awards and nominations at the annual sailing awards of the Bulgarian Sailing Federation for 2025.
With the greatest recognition, Alexandra Lukoyanova once again distinguished herself in the Olympic class ILCA 6, who, besides becoming the champion of Bulgaria, also received the prestigious nomination for “Athlete of the Year”. During the season, she recorded impressive results, including fifth place at the European Championship in Sweden, a Balkan title, and victories in all regattas from the national calendar. She also recorded the prestigious second place in the general classification for the Euroilka Cup 2025!
Dayana Pashova and Georgi Nikitov also distinguished themselves with a strong performance in the 420 class, who also found a place among the nominees.
Polina Zatochna and Mikhail Belogorodski won championship titles in the 470 class.
Among the youngest, Adriana Bozhinova and Anna Kononova triumphed as champions among the girls in the “Cadet” class, confirming the good work of the club with the young people.
The performance of the kite surfers was also excellent, with Gergana Stoyanova becoming champion among women, and Dimitar Kanev, Yani Grozev and Dimitar Nikov were also among the award winners and nominees for their strong performances during the season.
For the club's keel yachts, the nomination was for the Blue Lady yacht with skipper Borislav Nikolov.
The awards were presented at a solemn ceremony in the Yunashki Salon in Varna by the president of the Bulgarian Sailing Federation Rosen Marangozov, the rector of MU Varna and other official guests.
