Repair works on Hemus Motorway

From July 21 to July 24 (Friday), the Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) is implementing a temporary traffic organization in the section between the 43rd and 47th km of the Hemus Motorway, Sofia region. The reason for the restriction is the performance of roadside vegetation removal activities.

Drivers should proceed with caution and strictly follow the posted road signs.

Traffic organization details:

  • Working hours: Activities will be carried out daily from 08:00 to 17:00.
  • Restrictions: The lane in the direction of Sofia will have limited capacity.
  • Traffic scheme: The passing lane will be restricted in stages, with traffic being directed into the active lane.

The RIA appeals to drivers to follow traffic rules and speed limits, as well as to avoid risky overtaking that endangers the safety of other road users.
