An expert team from the Burgas Naval Base was tasked with identifying an unmanned aerial vehicle in the Black Sea, in the area between the town of Tsarevo and the village of Varvara. The military's actions were initiated following a request from the District Governor of Burgas Province and subsequent orders from the Chief of Defense.

Upon conducting an on-site inspection, the servicemen confirmed that the discovered machine was an electric reconnaissance drone that posed no threat. As reported by the Ministry of Defense, the device has since been moved to the naval base. Earlier, BNT reported that the search for the aerial object was carried out through coordination between representatives of the Navy and Border Police authorities.

The incident occurred just days after another drone was spotted washed up on the shoreline near Kranevo. At that time, specialists identified it as a decoy drone and found no traces of explosives on it.
