Attention! Tunnels "Blagoevgrad" and "Zheleznitsa" on the Struma Motorway to be closed

Traffic restrictions on the Struma Motorway

From 8:00 PM on July 15 to 1:00 AM on July 16, a temporary traffic organization will be implemented on the Struma Motorway in the Blagoevgrad area. The reason is an inspection of the asphalt pavement in the Blagoevgrad and Zheleznitsa tunnels (from km 97 to km 104).

Drivers must drive at a reasonable speed of up to 70 km/h and strictly observe the posted road signs.

Detour routes:

• Direction Kulata: Traffic will be diverted from the Struma Motorway at the Blagoevgrad South junction (km 97) along road I-1 Sofia - Kulata.
• Direction Sofia: Traffic is redirected at km 104 along road I-1 Sofia - Kulata to the Blagoevgrad South junction.
