Temporary traffic organization on the Hemus Motorway
From today until July 30 (Thursday), a change in traffic organization is being introduced on the Hemus Motorway (in the area between the 60th and 64th km). The reason for the restrictions is the execution of planned mowing and roadside vegetation removal activities.
Important: The activities are carried out in the interval from 07:00 to 15:00 in the lane towards Varna.
How to pass through the section?
- The passage through the passing lane is restricted in stages.
- Traffic is carried out entirely in the active lane.
The Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) urges drivers to drive with increased caution, to strictly observe traffic rules and speed limits, and to avoid risky overtaking.
Condition of the Vitinya Tunnel
Regarding travelers' concerns, the RIA has assured that passing through the Vitinya Tunnel in the tube towards Varna remains completely safe. After the incident in which a truck damaged an installation of the ventilation system, experts confirmed that the structure has not been compromised. Only one of the three fans mounted on the supporting rail is affected, and the integrity of the system has been maintained.

Ебати! До 30 юли ли?! Сериозно ли някой си прави кеф с нас, хората? Ама наистина ли?! Пак ще се влачим по магистралата като охлюви! Не разбирам как е възможно да не могат да свършат тия ремонти навреме. Дано поне са предприели мерки за безопасност и да няма задръствания, че направо ще полудея. Иначе – сти 😏
