Vladimir Gogov Strengthens Sportist (Svoge), Team with Record Number of New Players and Convincing Start in Second League
Experienced midfielder joins the "Chocolates"
Second division Sportist (Svoge) presented another new addition for the season – 27-year-old midfielder Vladimir Gogov. He strengthens the team with a contract until the end of the current campaign, after most recently being part of Belasitsa (Petrich). In his career, Gogov has played for Romanian elite club Academica Clinceni, as well as CSKA 1948 with First League appearances, and Septemvri (Simitli) in the Second League.
Gogov is the 18th new player in the squad, with 70% of the team renewed. Three of the new players are club academy graduates.
Strong start for the "Chocolates" in Second League
Despite significant changes, Sportist (Svoge) started the season excellently – the team has 5 points from 3 matches, placing them in 4th place in the standings. In the upcoming 4th round, Svoge will host newcomer Sevlievo, with expectations for the team to continue its positive momentum in the championship.
