The National Sailing Championship for the Optimist class concluded in Pomorie, with the hosts from Yacht Club "Pomorie" achieving success in the competition held from August 21 to 23. Three of the club's competitors secured the top positions in the final standings: Shterion Dailov – 1st place, Nikola Dailov – 2nd place, and Todor Gochev – 3rd place.

In the overall rankings, Denislav Terziev also performed well, placing 9th, while Nikoleta Kirova took the 17th position. Nikoleta Kirova finished third among the senior girls, and Plamen Prodromov was the champion in the junior age group. Kristiyan Kirov, Hristo Garkov, Magdalena Indzhova, and Zosim Ilchev also took part in the competition.

A special Mayor's Cup race was held as part of the event. The winners in this category were Iliya Kavrakov, Shterion Dailov, and Nikola Dailov, with the mayor personally awarding the top performers.

The championship was made possible with the support of the Municipality of Pomorie, the Bulgarian Sailing Federation, and Yacht Club "Pomorie".
