Burgas Sailors Triumph in Nessebar

Nesebar Bay became the arena of a fiercely contested sailing competition, the State Championship in Olympic classes. Waves reaching up to four meters high and winds up to 23 knots created extremely difficult conditions for the competitors.

Despite the extreme weather conditions, the sailors from Yacht Club " Chernomorets Burgas" demonstrated remarkable skill, winning two gold and one silver medal. The atmosphere was tense; every maneuver was watched with bated breath by the numerous spectators located along the shore. The sound of the waves mixed with the roar of the wind, turning the competition into a true spectacle of strength and precision.

Alexandra Lukoianova – gold medal

Alexandra Lukoianova, a young star of Bulgarian sailing and the face of the Olympic ILCA 6 class, repeated her championship success. With unwavering superiority, she once again dominated the competition.

The wind and waves were merciless, but that"s the charm of sailing – to overcome not only your rivals but also the elements,

shared Lukoianova after the final race, reflecting not only her sporting mastery but also the exceptional character needed for success in such extreme conditions.

Mikhail Belogorodsky and Polina Zatochna – gold medal

In the 470 class, Mikhail Belogorodsky and Polina Zatochna, also from Yacht Club "Chernomorets Burgas", performed an impressive series of seven consecutive first places.

The feeling of dominating race after race is incredible. This is the result of synchronization and trust in the crew,

commented Belogorodsky, emphasizing the importance of teamwork in achieving such a brilliant result.

Semyon Emelyanov – silver medal

The biggest surprise came from 15-year-old Semyon Emelyanov, who won a silver medal in the ILCA 6 youth class in his first participation. His youth and talent combined incredibly, reflecting the promising future of Bulgarian sailing.

I still can"t believe it! I"m grateful to the coaches for their support. This is only the beginning for me,

said the excited Emelyanov, expressing his immense joy and ambitions for future successes. His success undoubtedly brought great satisfaction to the club and the city.

Kamala Parusheva placed fourth in the women"s ILCA 6, showing exceptional willpower and endurance in the harsh conditions. Atanas Kobarelov, a veteran of the club, also performed well in the "Finn" class, demonstrating the traditional balance between experience and youth in Yacht Club "Chernomorets Burgas".

The club"s coaches assessed the results as proof of the correct direction of their work.
