Students of 51st Secondary School "Elisaveta Bagryana" in Sofia create a digital book in which they express their understanding of important human values such as honesty, compassion, justice and others. The book is implemented under the National Program of the Ministry of Education and encourages the creative and philosophical skills of the students.

Students of different ages at 51st Secondary School "Elisaveta Bagryana" in Sofia discuss and reflect in a digital book their understanding of important values such as honesty, compassion, courage, justice, responsibility, patience and diligence. They explain how these qualities manifest in everyday life and why it is so important for them to be worthy people.

According to fifth-grader Alex, humility means "to be like a superhero, but without boasting in front of everyone." For another student, integrity is "to return a toy that belongs to someone else, even if you really like it," and for a third student, it is "to tell the truth, even when you've gotten into trouble." Reliability, according to a third-grader, is to keep your promises "even when you're hungry and sleepy." For them, friendliness is to smile at someone in the hallway, even if you're not best friends, and diligence is to work hard on a project because "you want it to be great, not just to get it done."

Love for the students is "to hug your mom and feel warmth in your heart." Eva from 8th grade believes that cooperation is of great importance for success, and for third-grader Ema, teamwork is important because it makes us stronger. Eighth-grader Ivana thinks that gratitude is synonymous with thankfulness and should be expressed with respect and ease.

Seriousness for a fifth-grader means being responsible "even without the teacher watching you." Elena from 8th grade believes that we all should believe in ourselves, and her classmates explain idealism as a desire to fight for your ideas, not for material gain, but because you believe in your cause. For them, forgiveness is the ability to overcome your ego and be generous, and honesty is to declare a position, to speak and think according to your own values and beliefs.

Moderation, the students describe as the ability to avoid extremes and strive for balance in your actions. Decisiveness - to not hesitate "all day, but to do it, even if you're a little scared." Thoughtfulness for them shows respect and understanding of the feelings and needs of others.

The innovative product is created entirely by students of 51st Secondary School "Elisaveta Bagryana" - Sofia, with participation of children of different ages. The project is implemented under the National Program of the Ministry of Education and Science "Innovations in Action." The work on the book encourages not only the creative skills of the students, but also the philosophical dialogues in class and individual reflections on important topics. And the product itself proves how deep and meaningful the children's thoughts on serious issues can be.
