Success for sailors from Nessebar in Burgas

Young talents from the "Nessebar 2000" Sailing Club achieved impressive results during the prestigious international "Port Burgas" regatta, which is a round of the Southeast European Championship.

"Yet another proof of the high professionalism and hard work of our competitors and coaches," commented the club.

Here is how the awards were distributed by class:

  • Optimist Class: Alessandra Vasileva won a silver medal in the junior girls' category, and Vincenzo Nikolov placed 6th among the boys.
  • ILCA 6 Class: Bozhidara Bozovayska deservedly climbed the podium, taking 3rd place among the women.
  • Finn Class: The sailors of "Nessebar 2000" dominated with two spots in the top three – Zlatko Atanasov grabbed the silver (2nd place), and Anastas Petrov finished third.

These achievements solidify the position of "Nessebar 2000" as one of the leading sailing clubs in the region and inspire the next generation of athletes in maritime sports.
