Transavia France will start flying between Paris Orly and Burgas on 10 May in summer 2027, earlier than planned, Burgas Airport said. The route opened in 2026, and 2027 will be its second season.
Planes will link Paris with the Bulgarian Black Sea coast in May, before the main summer season begins. Transavia France says the longer schedule makes it possible to travel to Eurovision 2027, and to take short breaks outside the busiest summer months, for example a spring trip to get to know the region.
The earlier start gives French people planning a holiday in Bulgaria more options. Burgas is a handy base for the southern Black Sea coast, with its beaches, resorts, seafood and historic towns.
The route also suits Bulgarians who want to see Paris, the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the cafes, the boutiques and walks along the Seine. Tickets for the 2027 season are on sale on the airline's official website.
