Electricity prices for business fall 17.32% on the exchange for Tuesday, September 30, figures from the Bulgarian Independent Energy Exchange show after the "Day-Ahead" segment closed. The average price for delivery tomorrow is 133.80 euros per megawatt-hour without VAT, down from 161.82 euros at the previous day's close for delivery today.

The "Day-Ahead" segment covers deals for delivery the next day, so the price applies to traders and companies that buy their electricity on the exchange.

The average price for peak hours, between 9am and 8pm, is 93.10 euros per megawatt-hour. For off-peak hours — 1am to 8am and 9pm to midnight — the price is 174.50 euros. Traders sold 106,164.20 megawatt-hours in total.

In the "Intraday" segment, the weighted average price for 60-minute products stands at 136.11 euros per megawatt-hour without VAT so far, while 15-minute products reach 153.52 euros.
