World-class beach volleyball at Marina Dinevi
For the third consecutive year, Sveti Vlas is becoming a world stage for beach volleyball. The Sveti Vlas Beach Pro Tour tournament kicks off tomorrow, turning the “Marina Dinevi” yacht port into a center of sports excitement.
The competition is part of the prestigious international Beach Pro Tour circuit and offers free admission for all sports fans.
Program and participants
Between June 5 and 9, 170 athletes from all over the world will compete on the courts of Venid Beach. Matches will be held every day from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Bulgarian presence
Bulgaria is relying on a strong roster for the tournament:
- For men: Tandems such as Dimitar Kalchev/Dimitar Mehandzhiyski and brothers Georgi and Valentin Bratoevi enter the main draw directly.
- For women: The highest-ranked pair, Vili Tsenova and Raya Tsenova, lead the Bulgarian team.
In tomorrow's qualifiers, we will see the performances of Boris Georgiev and Aleksandar Tsanev in the men's category, as well as Svilena Stoyanova and Elitsa Hristova in the women's category.
Why visit the tournament?
Sveti Vlas is strengthening its position as a sports destination. The tournament is organized under the auspices of Volleyball World, the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV), and the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation. This is a unique opportunity for sports enthusiasts to see elite international pairs in intense matches live.

Ех, хубаво нещо, спортът… винаги съм си мислел, че трябва да се подкрепя повече. Свети Влас да е домакин на такъв турнир – добре за града, добре и за страната, като цяло. Виж ся, какви са тия Beach Pro Tour-и... ама важното е, че привлича вниманието към България, към морето ни.
Абе, пичове, ама наистина ли?! Свети Влас отново става домакин на такъв важен турнир? Много съм доволен! Страхотно е за града, за туризма – все пак, трябва да си гледаме икономиката. А пък и, признавам си, плажния волейбол винаги ме е кефил.
