Sports Events in Burgas Despite the Bad Weather

Bad weather wasn't a hindrance for a group of enthusiasts who participated in the two sporting events – part of the St. Nicholas Day program of Burgas Municipality.

At 8:30 AM, swimmer Tsanko Tsankov and open water swimming enthusiasts gathered on the beach in Burgas. The great waves did not allow them to swim the pre-determined route, but it didn't stop them from diving for a while in the rough sea.

A genuine desire to train with a favorite athlete was demonstrated by 12-year-old Grisha Kolev. The boy is a vice-champion in acrobatics, and the rain did not stop him from participating in the training, which Yordan Yovchev held at the outdoor fitness area near the “Neptune” restaurant.

Due to the strong sea waves, which are nearly 4 Beaufort, the demonstration of retro diving suits scheduled for 11:30 AM is canceled.
