On May 19, starting at 9:00 AM in the "Vitosha" hall of the Inter Expo Center, a special career forum called “Business Extends a Hand” took place. The event provided an opportunity for direct meetings between people who fled the war in Ukraine and want to work in Bulgaria, and Bulgarian companies ready to offer them that opportunity.
The organizers aimed to involve over 30 potential employers from different economic sectors — a goal that was successfully achieved. All Ukrainian citizens in contact with NGOs had the chance to speak directly with company representatives.
Interested companies filled out a special registration form, while Ukrainian citizens seeking employment had the opportunity to register via forms in Ukrainian or Russian. The organizers contacted each of them in advance.
