Ryanair will fly from Burgas to Wroclaw in Poland in summer 2027, the Irish low-cost airline said today, 9 October. The second new route from Bulgaria links Varna with Memmingen in Germany. Tickets for both are on sale now.

The two routes are among the first 29 new routes in the airline's summer 2027 schedule. Seats can be booked in the Ryanair mobile app or on its website.

That gives the Black Sea coast a new air route to Poland. Wroclaw is a large Polish city that draws tourists with its historic architecture, old town and cultural sights. Memmingen airport serves the Allgäu region and gives access to southern Germany and Bavaria.

Ryanair says the new routes give Bulgarian tourists more travel options, as well as the Poles and Germans who spend their summer holidays in Bulgaria.

The other 27 new routes link cities in Europe and North Africa: Alicante-Naples, Alicante-Tangier, Athens-Turin, Budapest-Leeds Bradford, Catania-Wroclaw, Dubrovnik-Warsaw Modlin, Krakow-Tangier, Palermo-Marrakesh and Palermo-Tirana. Flights from the British cities of Newcastle and Exeter will go to holiday spots: Newcastle to Rhodes and Reus, and Exeter to Porto.

"We are giving our customers the chance to start planning their next trips early," said Ryanair chief marketing officer Dara Brady. She said these are the first new routes for summer 2027 to go on sale. The airline will announce more new routes for the season in the coming months.

The airline advises people travelling in summer 2027 to buy tickets early, because prices may rise when demand is higher.

Ryanair's full summer 2027 schedule has more than 2,500 routes. The airline serves 230 destinations, and more than 214 million people fly with it in Europe each year.
