"We are putting higher pay for young doctors in the 2027 budget," prime minister Rumen Radev said at the start of a cabinet meeting. He said the government is working to help young doctors in Bulgaria advance in their careers faster.
Radev thanked staff of the health ministry, the interior ministry, the prosecutor's office and the State Agency for National Security (DANS) for the operation in Plovdiv. It uncovered abuse involving clinical pathways, clinical trials, expensive drugs and sick leave.
The prime minister said there have been claims for a long time of large-scale abuse and of money being drained from the National Health Insurance Fund. He said the government's job is to uncover and prevent such cases.
Cross-checks will continue across Bulgaria, Radev said. The Public Procurement Act is also ready, and it will limit the draining of money from the Health Fund.

Пловдив ли? Сериозно, пак там ли! Не може ли да го направят някъде другаде за разнообразие малко?!
