The Prosecutor's Office is investigating ministers based on a signal from Peevski: Yankulov comments

Deputy Prime Minister and caretaker Minister of Justice Andrey Yankulov commented on his Facebook profile on the signals filed by Delyan Peevski to the prosecution against ministers from the caretaker government.

According to a statement from "DPS-Novo Nachalo" yesterday, Peevski signaled the prosecution about the interference of the caretaker Minister of Interior Emil Dechev in the work of the professional staff of the Ministry of Interior. The signal also notes that in connection with other interests and interrelationships between Emil Dechev, Teodora Georgieva and Andrey Yankulov - this should be established in due course by the Sofia City Prosecutor's Office and, if established, the relevant legal actions should be taken.

Ministers Yankulov and Dechev are also mentioned in another signal from Peevski in recent days to the prosecution regarding "the false claims fabricated in a fake "signal" from the removed prosecutor Teodora Georgieva due to serious violations".

In his post on the social network, Andrey Yankulov also points out that the main, old and new, political factors avoid seeing the lack of legality, professional and public legitimacy of the de facto chief prosecutor, and from there, of the entire judicial system. Yankulov recalls the decisions of the Plenum of the Supreme Judicial Council and the Prosecutor's College.

According to Yankulov, the context is important in order to "realize the authenticity of the voice of the people from within".
