At the Sozopol Art Gallery, within the framework of the 42nd "Apollonia" Arts Festival, the book "My Path in Art" by Prof. Dimo Dimov was presented. The publication traces the life and creative journey of the renowned violinist and music pedagogue, gathering his memories of his first encounters with music, his years of study, and his professional development.

The book is the result of months of conversations between Prof. Dimov and journalist Milena Neyova. The author noted that the goal of the publication is to remain a testament to his generation and to the musicians with whom he has traveled the world. "We are human; we do not live that long, and after we are gone, there should be something left for others to read," he stated during the premiere.

Among the most personal moments in the book are his memories of his first violin, gifted by his father at the age of six, his first book—a novel by Victor Hugo—and his childhood during World War II. The pages track his early musical pursuits in Stara Zagora, his first concerts, his arrival in Sofia to study at a music school, and his tours around the world. Author Milena Neyova spoke about working on the project, expressing gratitude to Prof. Dimov for his trust and candid conversations, and highlighted the contribution of editor Silvia Choleva and everyone involved in the preparation.

Actors Rashko Mladenov and Vladimir Lyutskanov read excerpts from the memoirs, noting that the end of the book also includes words from the author's sons and friends. Prof. Dimov shared his emotion: "I am moved now as I listen to these words, just as you are listening to them. Deep down, I am satisfied. Let those who see themselves in this book, and in a good light at that, enjoy this pedestal in art, which is like a ladder to the sky—you walk, and walk, and walk, and there is still a long way ahead of you."

During the event, Prof. Dimo Dimov was honored with an honorary plaque from the Municipality of Sozopol for his overall contribution to cultural life. It was emphasized that he is the creator of one of the most significant cultural forums in the country, contributing to establishing Sozopol as an important center of cultural life in Bulgaria. The event was attended by the Directors General of the Bulgarian News Agency, Kiril Valchev, and the Bulgarian National Radio, Milen Mitev, the director of "Apollonia" Margarita Dimitrova, as well as the author's family and friends.

The "Apollonia" Arts Festival has been held since 1984 by the foundation of the same name, which was established in 1991. Every year, the festival attracts hundreds of artists and thousands of art lovers from Bulgaria and around the world, aiming to preserve traditions and support new talent. This year's program includes over 70 events in the fields of music, theater, literature, cinema, and fine arts. The Bulgarian News Agency is a media partner of the festival, and one of the events on the program will take place on September 1.
