A one-time payment of 50 euro will be automatically transferred via mail or bank card to low-income families and individuals living below the poverty line. Social Minister Natalia Efremova announced this during a briefing at the Council of Ministers following a working meeting regarding fuel price measures. This mechanism implements the "Inflation Check" measure, which aims to provide basic social security amidst rising fuel prices.
According to information from the minister, a total of eight social groups will benefit from this financial assistance. Beneficiaries include:
- war invalids and war victims;
- families raising children with permanent disabilities;
- youth and individuals without parental care;
- children raised in foster families or by relatives;
- citizens receiving targeted heating assistance.
This new social measure will provide direct support to needy families and socially vulnerable groups in Burgas and the entire region.
The disbursement of funds is scheduled to begin as early as next month.
