The Council of Ministers will discuss funding from the European Investment Bank and other important decisions. Topics include changes to fees, insurance contributions, and energy compensations, as well as cooperation with Greece.

The Council of Ministers will discuss a proposal for the ratification of an agreement with the European Investment Bank (EIB), concerning the financing of the "Bulgaria co-financing project under the EU Funds 2021-2027 (SPZ)". The meeting is scheduled for 3:00 PM and will include a total of 34 points for discussion, the government's press office announced.

The cabinet is also expected to consider a proposal to amend Tariff No. 1 to the State Fees Act, specifically in relation to the fees collected by the courts, the prosecution, the investigative services, and the Ministry of Justice.

Decisions are also to be made regarding an additional transfer to the state social security budget for 2025. In addition, the government will consider the issue of compensation provided for the temporary relief of electricity prices for energy-intensive consumers. Included in the agenda is also a draft amendment to the Penal Code.

Another key decision that the ministers will have to make is related to the adoption of a draft Agreement between the Government of Bulgaria and that of Greece for the construction of a joint contact center for police and customs cooperation. At the end of the meeting, the country's accession to the "EU SST Partnership" Initiative is expected to be voted on.
