“We Continue the Change” criticizes income policy and insists on a new formula that would not disadvantage working Bulgarians when planning the 2027 budget.

Criticism of social policy

The NSI data on the average salary for the second quarter of 2026 sparked a sharp reaction from "We Continue the Change". The party claims that if the previous formula for calculating the minimum wage had not been repealed by the interim majority, it would have reached 690.44 euros in 2027.

"We have heard enough excuses as to why the 2026 budget freezes incomes while providing billions for capital expenditures," the formation stated.

Expectations for teacher salaries and the 2027 budget

Teacher remuneration: In compliance with the collective labor agreement, it should increase by 11.4% to 1726 euros in 2027.
Demands on the government: WCC insists that the new minimum wage formula should not disadvantage workers.
Financial criticism: The party warns against repeating the "drip irrigation" model for people while maintaining high administrative costs.
