A massive stone composition, inspired by the city’s motto "Ancient, Romantic, Eternal," is the main project being worked on by sculptors Darin Ganchev and Filip Filipov. The piece incorporates a propeller donated by Georgi Pirulev, with the artists aiming to bring their vision to life as part of the "The World is a Sea" plein air event.

This year, the creative event in Pomorie has attracted a wide range of participants who are taking advantage of the city's rich resources to find inspiration. The artistic program features prominent names such as Darina Gilyova, Dimitar Cholakov, Ivaylo Mirchev, Ivan Velchev-Yovo, Maria Raycheva, and Tsvetelina Stefanova, all of whom are focused on creating new works.

The final results of the plein air will be presented at an official exhibition, which will take place on 11.09.2026 /Friday/ at 6:00 PM. The foyer of the "Prosveta 1888" Community Center will host the exhibition.
