Teen Boom Fest in Burgas: A Strong Social Focus on Addiction Prevention
The seventh edition of Teen Boom Fest, which will be held on August 22 and 23 at the Burgas Sea Station, focuses on one of the most important topics for young people today – the prevention of substance abuse. With the cause "DON'T BE NEXT", the festival aims to start an honest conversation about the risks, especially regarding the dangerous substance fentanyl.
"Every person deserves a chance to start over," shares Plamen Yotinski, who will share his personal story about his journey through addiction.
Stars and experts united against drugs
At the festival, young people will have the opportunity to meet:
- Plamen Yotinski, founder of the I.A.M.WAY center, who will talk about addictions from a first-person perspective.
- The actors from the movie "A Gram of Life" – Ivaylo Zahariev, Kaloyan M. Paterkov, Tervel Pulev, and others, who show the severe consequences of wrong choices through cinema.
- Experts from the Customs Agency and the Municipal Council on Narcotic Substances.
Why is the "DON'T BE NEXT" campaign important?
During the festival, which expects over 10,000 visitors, the emphasis will be on how drugs are often presented as "harmless products." Accessible communication and the presence of popular influencers and musicians help the information reach young people without fear or pressure.
