Kristiyan Donchev and Martina Kondaklieva have become the first world champions in the history of Bulgarian sport dance. The pair took gold in the junior-senior 10-dance category at the Mladost hall in Burgas, the World DanceSport Federation said, beating 25 pairs from 25 countries.

Before the title, the two had already racked up a string of good results at international events.

The dance weekend in Burgas ran over two days and drew more than 400 competitors. Clubs KST "Burgas" and KST "Burgas 1975" organized it with support from Burgas council.
