The repair of Parva Street in Nessebar, from the first roundabout to the Kalofer Hotel, has been completed. This is part of the municipality's overall project for the infrastructure modernization of the street. After the end of the active tourist season, the municipality will start the reconstruction of the section from the Kalofer Hotel to the last traffic light intersection in Sunny Beach. The upcoming activities include the construction of a local lane for motor vehicles, providing access to a roadside parking area, a landscaped buffer with drip irrigation, sidewalks, new lighting, and complete resurfacing.
The Mayor of Nessebar Municipality, Nikolay Dimitrov, commented that Parva Street is the longest in the municipality and is the only alternative from a transport and economic point of view, as it provides access to Sunny Beach. In the renovated sections, a sense of width and space has been achieved, ensuring comfort and safety for all road users. During the current budget year, funds have been allocated for the start of the construction of a parallel road artery, the implementation of which will take time due to the specifics of the terrain. At the same time, work is underway to complete the infrastructure in the new neighborhoods of Nessebar and to maintain the existing street network in the municipality. The goal of the projects is to improve the vision and competitiveness of the area through modernization and providing opportunities for peaceful movement and parking.
